Default Will we ever be able to dye the Blinfold?

I enjoy my blindfold and I have some new items I'm trying to get to match but my blindfold is causing issues (lol) I want to use it but then I don't because it's awkwardly... purple. Anyone else agree or no if they will edit it? It shouldn't be to hard, right?

If they haven't done it by now it's unlikely they will. Perhaps if it really bugs you make a petition (search to see if any exist yet) and see if Anet listens. Although I'd go for the much easier option of TexModding it to whatever colour I wanted. Instant results (provided of course you know/want to spend a little while learning how to use it).

Yes, unfortunately it is and no, it's very very unlikely that they will ever be dyeable. It seems like the only solution would be to code different colored ones.

UPDATE: I've looked at how dye masks work and sure enough, I don't see how we could make it dyeable if it passes through anything (including hair). I'm not sure how much time it would take to have more blindfolds made in different colors but I'll look into it as something we could possibly use for future rewards.

That quote from Linsey was around a year ago, so you probably shouldn't get your hopes up.

But hey....you never know. Nothing is impossible. (It's just highly unlikely.)

Luckily, the purple matches my Deldrimor (Scale) leggings fairly well.

One has to wonder why, if it couldn't be dyed, they didn't make it black (or dark grey) instead of purple.

Thank you, I found this very helpful. Nice to find a reason because I always thought it was out of laziness haha ~ my bad. Guess I'll just have to stick with purple armor to match it.
